More on Jaguar’s Crossover Line-Up

Rumors are swirling around luxury auto company Jaguar, who's said to be working on a new type of vehicle for its lineup: a small crossover. Many of the brand's competitors already have crossovers available (like the BMW X6, the Audi Q5, and the Porsche Cayenne), and now it's time for Jaguar to enter the market as well.
If you're an enthusiast, you may be inclined to wish Jaguar would stick to its iconic luxury coupes and sedans, but you have to put yourself in the brand's shoes. To stay relevant in the market and on-top of trends, Jaguar must move on to producing more family-friendly and fuel-efficient vehicles. While the decision to build a crossover hasn't been officially confirmed by the company, Adrian Hallmark, who's in charge of Jaguar Global Brand Direction, "is said to have all but confirmed the company's focus on seven 'significant' new products over the next two years, including a new crossover that is rumored to borrow major underpinnings of the Evoque,"1 according to Digital Trends.
Parent company Tata Motors also recently announced it would double its investment in Jaguar, which further leads us to believe the luxury brand will be getting more creative with its lineup (possibly with the aforementioned crossover and a smaller sedan that will compete with the BMW 3-Series which rumors have been circling around as well).
Jaguar remains rather tight-lipped about possible new vehicle additions at the moment, but it should open up soon, so be sure to stay tuned here with Manhattan Jaguar NYC, conveniently located at 787 11th Ave. New York, NY 10019 for updates as soon as they become available.
