Jaguar Possibly Entering Crossover Segment Soon?

Ears are buzzing with talks of British automaker Jaguar, potentially working on a new a small crossover to add to their line-up. Some of Jaguar's top competitors have already staked out this territory such as the BMW X6, the Audi Q5, and the Porsche Cayenne.  Jaguar thinks its high time the increase the competition, and we at Manhattan Jaguar couldn't agree more.

Some people aren't in love with change, and they may not want Jaguar to stray from what it already does so well.  From another perspective, it will give you yet another option to choose from! To stay relevant in the market and on-top of trends, Jaguar must move on to producing more family-friendly and fuel-efficient vehicles. The company has yet to publicly announce their intentions, but Adrian Hallmark, who's in charge of Jaguar Global Brand Direction, "is said to have all but confirmed the company's focus on seven 'significant' new products over the next two years, including a new crossover that is rumored to borrow major underpinnings of the Evoque,"1 according to Digital Trends.

In more good news, Parent company Tata Motors just confirmed they will be doubling their investment in the fierce cat, which further leads us to believe the luxury brand will be getting more creative with its lineup (possibly with the aforementioned crossover and a smaller sedan that will compete with the BMW 3-Series which rumors have been circling around as well). Many exciting things to come for this luxury car maker.

As soon as we hear any confirmations, we'll be sure to post it on our blog.  We recommend checking Manhattan Jaguar's, blog often.  Or better yet, come visit us at  787 11th Ave. New York, NY 10019 .  We'll be happy to discuss specs with you and feel free to peruse our new Jaguar models from the comfort of your home online?
